Era of the electric car?

Electric cars have been in the news with China recently announcing their "vow" to take over the lead in this market. Now our neighboring state is in the news - both Nissan and Th!nk have been expressing an interest in the state. Nissan will introduce its 2010 electirc car in OR and Th!nk is looking at site options.
